Born and raised
in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in August 1987, Penny moved to Vancouver, Canada, to
continue high school and further her studies. She attended University of
British Columbia for marketing and public relations, and later went on to graduate
from Kwantlen University College with a degree in graphic design and communications. Penny
spent the next two years extensively involved in marketing, communications and

high profile companies such as Electronic Arts (EA), Young Presidents' Organization

for some of Vancouver's most notable corporate, entertainment and hospitality
establishments. She promoted and hosted numerous events involving local
and out-of-town celebrities, and high profile businesses and individuals. Her
